WEAR PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF NYLON-6/BORON NITRIDE POLYMER COMPOSITES USING TAGUCHI-PARETO AND TAGUCHI-ABC METHODS

Despite the industrial popularity of nylon 6 composites, their wear performance portrays a substantial knowledge gap on parametric importance. Consequently, this study optimizes and prioritizes parameters 6/boron nitride composites using Taguchi-Pareto Taguchi-ABC methods based 80-20 Pareto rule ABC analysis, signal-to-noise ratios. From literature information, principal considered are %wt reinforcement, normal load, sliding speed, distance, respectively. The results showed that optimal setting method is 4wt % boron Nanocomposite, 15 N 100 rpm speed 500m distance. limitation difficulty in deducing most significant delta values or ranks through parameters. This work drive towards more practically focused studies by practitioners, showing critical optimization prioritization procedures single study.
